Bisphenol S (BPS) is an organic compound with white acicular crystals. Melting point 240-241 ℃. Easily soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, soluble in alcohols and ethers, slightly soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, and insoluble in water. It has two phenol functional groups on both sides of the sulfonyl group. It is usually used to cure fast drying epoxy adhesives.
